During my training I specialised in the rapid treatment of depression and anxiety disorders.
I am sensitive to issues of race, disability and sexuality.
The most frequent number of appointments I will see a client for is 2 or 3. Only in very exceptional circumstances would I see a client for more than 6 appointments.
Will I be allowed to have a friend or relative with me during a session?
You are allowed to invite someone to accompany you during the appointment, however I would request that they don't take an active part in the session but rather simply observe what it occurring.
What does hypnosis feel like?
My clients report different sensations when they are in hypnosis. Some report feeling vivid, yet pleasant, daydreams accompanied by a feeling of dissociation and others report a feeling of intense relaxation. I find that the only common thread which runs though all of these reports is that they feel better upon awaking afterwards than before they closed their eyes.
What happens during the appointment?
During the appointment we will spend a while discussing what it is that you would like me to help you with. I will then gently guide you into hypnosis and help you work through your problem.
How much do you charge?
£140 per session. The sessions usually last between 45 and 90 minutes.
I am on a low income, do you offer discounts?
I offer discounts to individuals who are genuinely unable to afford the full appointment fee. In these circumstances I ask clients to pay what they feel that they are able to afford. Naturally the same quality and length of appointment is given to regardless of the level of payment received.
Are evening or weekend sessions available?
Yes. The earliest appointment time is 7am and the latest appointment time is 9.30pm.
Do you record the sessions?
Not usually. However if you would like me to make you a DVD (at no extra cost) of the appointment then I would be happy to do so. If you would like this then please mention this when booking.
Are you qualified?
Yes. I am completely qualified and trained to treat clients with hypnotherapy and short term counseling.
Can you help children?
Yes, provided they are over the age of 8 years old. All children need to be accompanied by an adult in the appointment.
Do you have a criminal record?
No. I am in possession of an enhanced disclosure certificate which was issued by the Criminal Records Bureau. This states that I have never had any convictions, cautions, reprimands or warnings recorded against me. My disclosure number is 001070958229.
